Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with three years' experience in the field. I am passionate about inspiring young children, and my personal philosophy statement will attest to that. Here is what I believe: As an educator, I believe in providing developmentally appropriate curriculum and environment for young children. Different ages have different needs, interests, and developmental tasks. I aim to provide an effective early childhood environment that fosters creative expression, social and emotional interaction, child-adult communication, child-child communication, physical expression, risk-taking, and personal independence. Early childhood learning happens through play. I believe that play is essential and should be fun, exciting, spontaneous, hands-on, comforting and challenging. I aim to provide opportunities for children to discover, explore, create, investigate, solve problems and express ideas with others. I believe children are capable and resourceful. I will encourage and support children to find and explore their own interests. I will encourage children to make their own decisions and choices and to be active problem solvers. I believe in nurture, as it is critical for children to develop lifelong respectful, inquisitive and positive attitudes. I want to make learning experiences fun, positive, easy and fun. If I can make this possible, then, I believe that I am doing my part to forever impact the lives of the children entrusted in my care.
