Early Childhood Educator in Surrey, British Columbia

My name is Habibah Khan, and I am a 24 year old university student. I am aspiring to be an elementary school teacher. I think I would be very well suited for this position because I love working with and being around children! I've worked at Kumon Learning Center and I had so much fun working with the kids and helping them learn. I am very passionate when it comes to children, and I honestly enjoy their presence. I like being with kids of all different ages. In general, I am a very active and playful person myself, so I feel that I would do this job well, and have fun while I work! I have many baby cousins and a nephew whom I hang out with on the daily. I also have a baby sister. My experiences with them as well as my experience volunteering with older children in Richmond have made me learn to handle them. I have the patience to deal with children, as they can sometimes be a handful. I have also taken childhood development courses in University that have helped me better understand children. I have my ECE Assistant Certificate. I have also taken classes that have enabled me to understand children. I have learned a lot of strategies and teaching/learning practices during my studies that I use with the kids I deal with now. I have the knowledge, experience and passion needed to work with young children. I am a good at communicating and feel as if I would not have a problem communicating with parents, as I do so at my current job. I am an extremely reliable person. I would make a good fit for this position because I am great at working with kids and I am passionate about it. I can lead the kids in the right direction. It does not worry me to work with children with certain disabilities, as I did so at Kumon. I truly care for the happiness and health of young children. I just want them to have a good outlook and mindset about life. I feel that I would be good at working for your company and that I would have a lot of fun at work.
