Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

My name is Sarabjit Sangha, and I currently hold an Early Child Care Assistant Diploma and a First Aid and CPR licence. I have many years of experience in child care through volunteering as an Early Child Care Assistant at the reputable Khalsa Community School, being a lunch and trip supervisor at Cherrytree Public School and by raising three kids of my own. I volunteered at Khalsa Community School for 6 months and found it to be a very rewarding experience. In this position I particularly enjoyed developing the play curriculum and planning and implementing sporting and craft activities, ensuring the right activities to create a strong educational foundation for the children. I have also raised three children of my own, whom are now young adults – which has given me hands on experience for the past 20 years, thereby making me fully aware of all the needs, demands and requirements of child care. With my many years of experience and my educational background in all aspects of child care I will be the best fit for a position as an ECA. I will become a key member of this organization because of my very strong work ethic and my great ability to work with people in a honest and sincere manner, as well as being able to work independently in order to ensure positive results with all my responsibilities. My social and friendly nature allows me to easily connect with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and I value the task of building community involvement, which I see as part of working in child care. Child safety is always at the forefront of my mind and I am always able to manage stressful situations. Hope to be working with you soon!
