Early Childhood Educator in Burlington, Ontario

I have worked in a daycare setting with newborn babies up to children age 11. I have also worked in the school-age education setting as a before and after school childcare assistant. I have experience working with young girls ages 5-12, and coaching/teaching them the skills of lacrosse. I also have volunteered at an orphanage in Thailand, where I taught English to young Thai children and prepared educational games and activities for them to learn and flourish. I have years of experience working with babies and children. I know how to care for and nurture young babies and toddlers, as well as educate and provide lesson plans and fun activities for school age children. I have worked with children with Asperger's Syndrome in my school-age childcare assistant job. I have also lived with my 23 year old Autistic stepbrother for the past 4 years and have learned to communicate with him and provide support to him on a daily basis.
