I do posses a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate. I had an opportunity to display my qualifications in the various grade levels/adults that I had an experience to work with in each classroom settings such as: •I speak Ojibway fluently, •I can do thematic and unit plans, •Excellent computer knowledge: Microsoft word, Power Point & Excel, •Excellent oral written skills, •Experience teaching/supports residential school survivors, •I have experience in teaching grades three-twelve and adults, •Excellent facilitator skills, •Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check I have a keen understanding of the significance for each student’s/individual’s education. I had the opportunity to be educated as an adult and go further by attending University of Winnipeg/Winnipeg Education Center. I do have a History major and my minor is in English. I can do thematic and unit plans, research and presentations with or without Microsoft PowerPoint and I have also attended Professional Development seminars. I was an Educational Assistant in 2002-03 for Winnipeg School Division in a Basic Adult Literacy Program. As an Educational Assistant I was assigned and also responsible to work with twelve adult basic learners that needed to upgrade their academic skills. I had Aboriginal adults in this group that had experienced residential school. These were important skills for all the adult students to achieve.
