• Ability to build supportive relationships with children and their families.
• Trained in the identification of the milestones of development in children.
• Daily written and face-to-face communication with staff, children and families.
• Assist with assessments and trouble shoot learning and/or social emotional issues.
• Provide effective supervision of upwards of 30 children at a time.

o Assist the Educators with the day to day routines of the Program including timely correspondence to Parents/Guardians, the “Snuggle Up and Read” program, yard duty etc.
o Consistently engage in positive interactions with children, families and Educators to help support a healthy, pro-social and inclusive learning environment within the classroom.
September/October 2013
• North London Children’s Centre, London, ON – Toddler Program
o Assisted in daily routines including toileting, meals and snacks, naptime and free play activities.
o Created and presented both planned and spontaneous play experiences for the children based on their interests and in accordance with toddler development.
o Engaged in positive interactions with Parents/Guardians on a daily basis. Provided reports and updates on their child’s experiences throughout the day.
