I have learned that effective and efficient approaches in lesson plans help children develop in specific areas that they need to improve the most. I have learned that children are natural learners, which makes me continue to demonstrate learning environments that are flexible enough to include all the following holistic approaches: social/emotional, physical, visual, auditory and intellectual abilities. I have demonstrated the ability to create environments that support children's expressions in learning so that they can learn through their own experiences. I continue to work with children; their families and other professionals in supporting developmental appropriate learning experiences within a strong foundation. I have learned that every environment is designed to stimulate learning with the intention to foster and promote diversity. I continue to facilitate meaningful learning experiences that allow children to explore within their environments. When working with children with special needs I make sure that lessons are inclusive so that all children participate. I have been able to implement lessons to fit the needs of all children by accommodating or modifying certain parts to allow children to experience the overall lesson.
