Early Childhood Educator in Whitby, Ontario

My experiences working with children have been vast. I have been babysitting since highschool and volunteered in afterschool programs. During my ECE program I did three placements which consisted of toddlers and preschool. All my placements followed emergent curriculum and ELECT. My professional experience as an RECE consist of working with Junior preschool, Toddlers, and Kindergartens. I was a Resource Teacher for child who had a genetic mutation which resulted in developmental and physical delays. Working with this child gave me the opportunity to enhance my knowledge of developmental milestones and methods of achieving them and gave me the opportunity to work with healthcare professionals as well as refining my documentation skills.
