Early Childhood Educator in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

I have been a nanny for a family since I was 11 years old. The family started off as a 1 child family, and now it has grown to a 3 children family. I am have worked very closely with them for a little less then half of my life. One of the children has autism so I am well equipped with the skills to manage any meltdowns, or emotional struggles that most children with autism deal with. When I worked at a Montessori school before I worked with children with autism, bi-polar,ADD/ADHD,and down syndrome. Mostly my experience with them was accompanied by another qualified teacher. I learned a lot and was quickly able to handle 2-3 students with special needs on my own for a appropriate amount of time.
