Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I believe I am well suited for this position because I have a natural ability to work with children. Through educational and personal experiences, I have grown significantly in my interaction with children and their families. I believe I have a special kind of patience when I interact with children, and through this I have a unique love and passion towards all young individuals. I have grown to develop creative thinking, especially as I have program planned and implemented developmentally appropriate experiences for children through a self-run program. Also, through observation, I have been able to understand diversity immensely, and respect many cultural backgrounds. In that, my interpersonal skills have increased. I believe through this position, I can continue to grow personally and professionally and become a well-round RECE in the future. Within my self-run program, we encountered a child who was later diagnosed with autism. During the time I worked with him, I was able to develop a better sense of patience as well as special verbal skill. I also had to pay extra special attention to him, and implement activities specifically for him.
