Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have had the chance to work with toddlers, preschoolers as well as school age children during my field placement as an ECE Seneca Student. During my 9 month field placement, I have had the opportunity to, not only, observe, but also be fully engaged in all the activities of the center I am at. With my observations I have been able to get to know the children better, their interests and plan activites and programs accordingly. I do believe that the more we get to know the children and their interets, the more effective activites we will be able to plan. Planing according to the childrens interests increases their participation and makes learning fun.
