Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I was the lead teacher at a non-profit preschool (ages 3-5) for two years before moving to Calgary. In Calgary, I taught three 3/4 preschool classes with a high ELL population. I am a certified teacher for preK through Grade Three, and I have a master of arts in teaching degree for early childhood education. I currently work as a temporary education assistant for the Calgary Board of Education. In this position, I have worked extensively with children with Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, Rhett syndrome, speech delays, and general developmental delays. Many of my recent preschool students are learning English as a second language.
