Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers. I completed a 1 year program at the Faculty of Education through York. I also have a diploma of ECE from George Brown College and a degree from Ryerson University in the same field, and my schooling has given me a great amount of training. I have a great deal of experience working with children of various ages. I have an understanding of planning activities, organizing lessons in different subjects, as well putting together stables routines and transitions . I have done work one on one with children as well as in big groups. I have a great deal of practice in assessing children's needs, and implementing an age-appropriate and emergent curriculum to stimulate children's learning. I feel I am positive presence for children in a learning and play-based environment, and can be a great asset! I have worked one on one in classrooms with children who have reading or general learning disabilities. My role has been to generally work with the child and then implement and individual plan to help them in their learning.
