I cared for youth in summer camp, holding activities, taking them on field trips, reading to them in class. I helped special needs children reading, staying in the class to Assist the teacher at anytime when and if needed. You MUST have a lot of patience but it's a very rewarding thing to do and I would recommend it to anyone. I enjoyed it very much, you must listen carefully and allow them to take the lead as some children may become moody, get frustrated or aggressive. Speaking softly and calming was helpful always.
