Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I am a experienced Early Childhood Educator with a Infant/Toddler Certificate as well.. I have worked in a variety of centres including a preschool Program. I am currently Lead Teacher in an Infant Program and have been a Lead in a Toddler Program as well as a Supervisor of a 3-5 program. I have completed many workshops including Ages and Stages and also hold a Food Safe Certificate, completed a 3 month Community Mental Health Care Aide course and my CPR/First Aid is up to date. I have had many opportunities to work with students as well as children with challenges. I currently live in Kamloops but would like the opportunity to move to Alberta to be closer to my grown children and grandchildren. I am reliable, a team player with great communication skills and have a great passion for children and working hard at meeting their needs in all areas. I love to observe children and their behaviors and believe that treating each child with respect for who they are as well as where they are developmentally, builds a trusting relationship. I also believe that working closely with parents builds that trust with them that proves their child in in not only in capable hands, but also knowledgeable care. I am looking for a position as a director or the possibility of supervisor in a Infant and or Toddler program I would also like to add that my current ECE is a BC certificate but I am willing to change it over to Alberta standards once a job is accepted in Alberta. .
