Early Childhood Educator in Regina, Saskatchewan

I have worked at the same centre for 5 years now. In this time I've had experience with each age group. My longest time has been with Toddlers and Pre-School age, I especially enjoy Pre-School. I have taken all my ECE level 2 classes at SIAST and need now to only complete my practicums. I use the Project approach at my current centre and play exploration. I also specialize in integrating typical developing children as well as children with diverse needs. The centre I work at now is called Hope\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Home, it is located in Regina, SK. Hope's Home is Canada first medically integrated Early Learning Centre. We are a family centre environment that gives care for medically fragile children and typical developing children. I have worked with all age groups from infant to school age and with all diverse needs. I've cared for children with Cerebral Palsy, Tracheostomy, Visual impairment, Feeding tubes, Mechanical Ventilation and life threatening illnesses. Each day I implement developmentally appropriate programs for each child. I also have special training in MANDT system,ELIS (Educational Leadership Institution of Saskatchewan) , PECS(Picture exchange communication system) and Play and Exploration for Infants and Toddlers. I have attended many other ECE seminars and training throughout the last 5 years.
