Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

I started babysitting on a regular basis when I was in grade 8. I babysat for children anywhere from newborn to 12 years old. I regularly teach Sunday School lessons at my church for preschool students. I have completed a grade one practicum and a junior high practicum at the Kings University College as well as worked at the autism centre. For the past year, I have worked with the City of Edmonton leading kids programs (greenshack and CORE) for kids ages 6-12. At the moment I nanny for a four year old and a one year old every Tuesday and Thursday. I have worked at the autism centre (playing games with the kids. As I mentioned before, I completed a junior high practicum at the Kings University College. All of the students in this classroom had special needs, anywhere from down syndrome to autism. I worked with these students once a week for six weeks. Usually I would play games with them or help them with their homework. I have also had to deal with kids who have inclusion needs and behaviour issues while working the greenshack programs.
