Early Childhood Educator in Abbotsford, British Columbia

I had 3 experiences with children as a field practicum student for three months. Every moment I had with children was exciting and amazing to know about how children think, do and develop. I observed and helped them find their own interests and strengths, playing with them. I tried to respect their characteristics and be positive in treating them. I found children are born scientists, finding something from nature and environment itself. Also I learned from their curiosity and attitude in dealing with their surroundings. I enjoy working with young children. I met two children with special Needs, who had autism. Also my nephew has autism. I encouraged them to play what they liked and choosed to do and respect their interests. I observed what they were doing and helped and guided when they needed help. One of them kept putting puzzles together and I did that with him, trying to talk about the puzzles. I showed true attention and interests in what they did. Basically I felt all children have the same right to play and enjoy their environments.
