Early Childhood Educator in Orleans, Ontario

I have memberships with both the Ontario College of Teachers and the College of Early Childhood Educators. I have more than five years experience as both a classroom teacher and as an ECE in toddler, preschool, kindergarten and school aged programs. I have worked in a school setting as a third party provider through Aladin Childcare Services and also in a daycare setting. I have additional qualifications in Montessori Education through NAMTA. I have valid CPR level C and all immunizations are up to date, including a negative TB result. I have WHIMIS training and a commitment to ongoing professional development. I am familiar with emergent curriculum and have a solid understand of the ELECT document and the "How Learning Happens" document. I plan my lessons and activities based on a series of ongoing observations of the children's interests to keep my curriculum emergent and developmentally appropriate.
