Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am a patient, gentle, and hardworking registered early childhood educator. I have experience in daycare's and early learning centres as well as care giving experience for multiple families. I have previously worked with children from infancy to school age, this included two field placements in preschool rooms, a field placement in a toddler room. I also worked as a supply early childhood assistant in a child care centre, I worked in the infant room, the toddler rooms, and the preschool rooms. Aside from assuming the responsibility of the educators in their absence, my responsibilities there also included relieving staff for their breaks, and preparing snacks and meals. I have knowledge of the ELECT document and How does Learning happen. I have demonstrated my ability to use these tools in order to plan developmentally appropriate activities. I have effectively used observations and documentation to plan curriculum based on the children's skills and interests. I understand and comply with the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. I am looking for a rewarding, and challenging position as an early childhood educator.
