Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

- Currently volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto and mentoring a 14 year old girl\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n- volunteered at daycares and camps where I had to educate children by teaching them how to read, write and spell to enhance their learning experience, direct games and activities , nurture toddlers by feeding, changing and playing with them while making sure their surrounding environment is safe and secure, I also participated in organizing trips for the kids - Took on the position of a therapist to many children and teenagers with autism and had one on one sessions with them to increase their social and developmental skills \\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n- Shadowed with other therapists and assisted them with new children whom may have a harder time adjusting to the new environment \\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n- Collaborated with other volunteers/therapists in preparing program materials\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n- Participated in coaching the parents on how to use the principles of ABA within the home, when interacting with their children
