Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

Dear Hiring Team: As a creative, caring, and experienced childhood educator, I am passionate about child development and positive learning. I look forward to contributing to your team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals. I have been working with children for 2 years and currently, working at North York Little Prints for 1 year. Previously, I had worked at Upper Canada Child Care for 1 year as a full time RECE. I am accountable for the safety and development of 24 children. I have worked on play-based activities and made a weekly plan. I have also made individual portfolios every day and group observations monthly. My roles are to observe, find children’s interests, create activities, expand their learning and encourage children‘s development. I am also involved in setting up the environment to stimulate interest and learning. The children and families also benefit from my proficient application of various concepts and methods of teaching, including implementing theories. Along with my current job, I held additional positions with Bright Horizons, McKee McKids, All Star Day Care, and R.J Lang kindergarten. I was accountable for up to 24 children, aged infant to grade 5. In addition to my experience, I completed my ECE diploma in April 2015. I took some workshops and conference from Upper Canada. I am committed to life-long learning, and look forward to adding to my portfolio of knowledge.
