Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

Working in the ECE field since 2009, I provide high quality, frontline childcare to children aged 6 months (infants) to 3.5 years of age (pre-schoolers). I effectively provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and succeed in. I execute lesson plans and daily activities to stimulate the children’s holistic growth. As well as, coordinating and implementing curriculum based learning which focuses on the development of all aspects of learning - the emphasis on cognitive, physical, social, emotional and language skills. I regularly communicate with parents to ensure needs of the children are met. During my years of service as an ECE, I have had the opportunity to work alongside children with special needs - within the daycare setting. Although not as extensive, I have learned quite a lot within this experience.
