Early Childhood Educator in Richmond Hill, Ontario

I have cared for children in the age groups of toddler and pre-school during my placements at the St. Nicholas Child Care Centre and the Smart Start Montessori School. My duties included the planning and implementing of activities that promoted the development of the whole child; I provided health and physical safety; I ensured student supervision and security at all times; and I assisted with meals, diapering, and toileting. I have experience caring for a child with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I provided more activities for the child to account for their special needs so that they still had things to do when the other children were still on another activity. I was also very patient when interacting with the child.
