Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! I’m Kayla, an early childhood educator with a passion for guiding young minds in their learning journey. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning atmosphere for children. I am currently seeking a new opportunity where I can apply my skills and knowledge to support the growth and development of young learners. I’ve been in the childcare world since I was a kid myself, when I started my own childcare business until I left for university. I worked as a private childcare provider in 2022 - 2... during a gap year in university, and decided to pursue my ECE, because without a doubt, working with children is my gift. I am also a dedicated yogi and runner, and one of my favourite things to do with the children is teach both gross and fine motor activities. I am also particularly passionate about early emotional development, and I work hard to create a space where the children can foster self regulatory and executive function skills.
