Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I am an Ontario certified teacher who has gained valuable teaching experience working in both inner city and suburban schools. I have had to create daily lessons, enforce school rules and policies and deliver curricular content from kindergarten to grade eight. I have had a chance to teach a diverse group of students including those with learning disabilities, students with IEP's, and ELL students. I have my ESL part 1 and many years of experience working with children. I am an energetic, organized, hard working individual who is very passionate in what I do .I believe that every child is unique and everyone learns in different ways. I encourage learning by implementing student-based learning centres, instructional strategies, hands on activities and technology to stimulate their learning. I try to incorporate the childrens interests, opinions and ideas into their lessons to motivate them to learn and explore.
