Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I have spent the last five years working with children, either as an elementary teacher back in my country, and as a Child Caregiver in Canada. As a former elementary teacher, I was in charge of different groups of students ages 6 to 13 approximately, providing stimulating, challenging and fun environments to enrich their learning processes. I enjoy helping kids build confidence, and offering them support and guidance to achieve their personal and academic goals. As a caregiver, I gained experience in providing safe and clean environments for kids, controlling their meals and eliminating possible hazards in their playing areas. I also helped out reinforcing basic social skills and manners. I believe that my experience, the fact that I am bilingual (Spanish-English), as well as my organizational skills and my desire to continue to learn would be an asset in your company.
