As an experienced daycare teacher I provide all job descriptions needed (programming, behaviour management, assessing children, individual needs, communications, using resources, field trip planning etc.) What I am looking for is the opportunity to use my wide variety of teaching methods.
One of my favourite methods is using puppets, as I have found that children really enjoy puppet plays. They will be listening and learning more if, for example, "Rectangle Robert" introduces the attributes of a rectangle.
I believe playing is the primary activity of a child, so all of my activities are based on play.
