Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am a highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic professional who is not only detail oriented but task oriented as well. As a trained and certified teacher I have experience working with children of a variety of diverse backgrounds. I have experience working within and with a wide variety of schools and community settings. I have taught in a wide variety of classrooms, in varied age groups from nursery to 6th grade; teaching students of varied abilities and needs. I have previously gained experience working as a Integration specialist in a camp setting working one-to-one with children with special needs. I have worked with children from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. While working as a Pupil Premium teacher in East London I worked specifically with students of low-income families. My most recent experience has been in the field of external teacher recruitment. While working in a start-up teacher recruitment firm I built relationships with teachers and school administration as well. This required diligent scheduling and regular phone calls, conducting daily interviews, emails, planning and facilitating international in-person interview sessions and finding innovative ways to advertise our openings. Working for Teach Away was an invaluable experience in which I developed from an international educator to one of the highest yielding recruiter of international educators. I managed the largest portfolio of candidates for full service, full cycle recruitment on several different challenging accounts. This required hard work, determination, efficiency, organization, team work, independence, initiative, and a great deal of off the cuff problem solving skills. My experiences are diverse and they make me a dynamic professional recruiter as well as and educator.
