Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am currently working in a drop in program (Family Resource Center) for families and children. I really take delight in working with young children and contributing to their full development by leading them in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. The main daily tasks carried out in this center are: - Meet regularly with co-worker(s) to ensure programming is responsive to the needs of the participants and community. - Support children’s’ identified needs, strengths, interest and stages of development through tailored programming. - Provide resources and make appropriate referrals as required. - Research, design, plan, and deliver various topic-based parenting workshops. - Organize site locations and resources for program delivery.
