Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

We are located in the Davisville Area. Our curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia Approach. At Tiny Bumblebees we embrace children's joy for discovery, learning, and wonder. We see children as teaching partners and encourage child-initiated activities that allow children to learn about the world through inquiries and self-exploration. We are looking for passionate, nurturing teachers for our toddler and preschool classrooms. Applicants must: -Have 1 minimum year experience of working with children -All educators are required to be RECE - Registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario, a current and up to date standard first aid and CPR/AED Level C, along with a vulnerable police check clearance. Qualifications: -Experience in planning, carrying out and assessing developmentally appropriate curriculums -Experience developing and planning individualized and large group setting learning activities -Experience in providing a safe and healthy environment for the children -Educators are sensitive and responsive to children -Provides opportunities for active playespecially outdoors -Provides opportunities for developing motor, social, language and cognitive skills through play -Positive interactions with staff, children, and families -Experience documenting and assessing children -Is organized and works well under pressure -Flexible -Sociable, approachable, an eager to learn and teach We offer: -Benefits -A great support team Thank you for taking the time to apply.
