Dear human resources, I am interested in working as Registered Early Childhood Educator. I graduated from Honours Bachelor of Child Development at Seneca College. I have hosted a workshop with parents and educators on introduction to child development and received positive feedback. I have also provided resources for a new mom on postpartum depression and where to seek support. I am developing an online program on child development and helping families improve their quality of life. I was a guest at Radio Pakistan Toronto as Child Development Specialist. I provided resources to listeners on child development and services that are available in the community on improving quality of life of families. I am currently working at Van Horne Day Care Centre. I took on an undergraduate study on understanding parental perspective on childcare program and impact on children’s learning and development. During my placement at Don Valley East Ontario Early Years, I did a presentation on Postpartum Depression and impact on infant mental health to families and provided resources to families from Toronto Public Health. In my 2nd year I did my placement at Ranchdale Public School in the Full Day Kindergarten classroom where I planned and implemented activities based on the Full Day Kindergarten curriculum. I am also working as a seasonal employee at Seneca College as convocation assistant where I help graduates with their diplomas and make their graduation experience memorable. I am a current member of College of Early Childhood Educators. I have also been as Medical Office Administrator. During my journey as an early childhood educator, I have had experience working with children and families from birth to age 12. I have provided support to families and children and have provided resources from the community in various placement settings i.e. Ontario Early Years, Full Day Kindergarten classroom, Parent Family Literacy Centre, and childcare centres as well as workplace place setting. As a medical office administrator, I learned how to do filing, patient's’ billing, transcribing reports, letters writing, telephone etiquette, booking appointments, and documentations.
