Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

I feel as though children are competent and capable learners, they just need the tools and the right teachers to help them along the way. I am a hardworking, and time efficient individual. I have been told that I am a caring, friendly, welcoming, and energetic person to be around. I have had experience in many different classrooms ranging children from all different ages between eighteen months to eleven years. I have learned a great deal of information, from many different RECEs that I have had a chance to work with. I have had chances learn how to deal with different types of children, and how to handle different situations that may come up inside the classroom. From this, I have become more nurturing, responsible, and quick on my feet about what to do in different situations if problems come up or things do not go a certain way. I have worked for 5 years in the classroom, and almost 2 in the office further supporting the daycare. I have completed workshops, and graduated Niagara College in 2018. I have gained further knowledge about different techniques and different ways I can support the classroom, as well as gained further knowledgeable and have had a chance to implement activities using different documents such as How Does Learning Happen?, The Kindergarten Document, and ELECT. I am a caring, knowledgeable, energetic, kind, and friendly person to be around that would be great for any team.
