Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I have worked at the MRUKids Summer camp in adventure-based programs, and with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society where I worked with a few children with special needs. By working in these different backgrounds, I know the different levels of specialized attention I will have to provide to some children compared to others. I have also had some training experience working in an out-of-school care program setting. Through these various experiences, I have learned the importance of being able to care for and supervise children at every moment. I have learned the skills to be attentive so that I can constantly be supervising and looking out for my surroundings. I have learned the skills of conflict management within my peers as well as how to resolve conflict among students of various ages. I believe these skills that I have developed over time will enable me to be an integral part of your team. I have worked with kids from ages as young as 4, to as old as 14. By working with kids of all ages I have gained a wide range of skills in learning how to deal with each unique situation based on their maturity level and level of attention they require. I understand that being punctual and professional is a big part of this job and I believe I will be a good asset to the team because of my previous experience in professional fields. I have Level 1 certification and thus I have advanced training to be able to deal with any childcare setting. I hope to be a part of this team.
