Early Childhood Educator in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there! Bonjour! My name is Zoë and I am twenty one years young! I am currently seeking a family who will be needing a nanny for around 20-30 hours a week from September 2018 onwards. I am currently studying early childhood education in Vancouver, BC and am transferring to the Elementary Education program at Uvic. In the past year, I was studying at Capilano University in the Early Childhood Care and Education program, completing my ECEA certification. My availability during my fall semester is as follows: Everyday: before 8:30am Mon / Thurs - 10:30am onwards Tues/Wed/Fri - 1pm onwards Sat/Sun - full availability I have been working with kids for many years as a nanny but also been around the childcare environment for a while as my mom has been a daycare provider my entire life. I am a keen and genuine person and try to put a smile on every face :) I am currently a nanny for a one year old girl. I've been with this family for 6 months now and it has been a truly amazing experience! I have worked with children of various ages for a while now. In the past I have worked as a dance teacher working with kids ages 2-6 in class. Not only do I have to keep patient during these times I also have to care and provide sympathetically for kids while maintaining my authoritative role. I have also worked in a recreational pool with kids who have mental and/or physical disabilities in an aquatic physiotherapy clinic. I have worked with children who have autism, muscular dystrophy, retts syndrome, down syndrome, etc. I also babysit often with many families with children aged 2 months- 14 years.
