Early Childhood Educator in Oshawa, Ontario

I have always cared for children. From babysitting when I was younger to my college education. As a requirement of my program at Durham College I had three field placements with different age groups. Toddlers at Magic Pencils Learning Centre, Preschoolers at Campus Childcare Centre and School-age children at Clara Hughes Public School. Since completing the program I have been working for Campus Childcare as an on-call ECE mainly in their Toddler room but also in all other classrooms. Each of my placements exposed me to children with special needs. At Campus Childcare we had a few children with different variations of autism. I have also been around hearing impaired children because of my minimal sign language abilities.
