Early Childhood Educator in Halifax, Nova Scotia

In my last practicum, I was in the toddler's room and after I noticed toddlers really love sensory activities, I prepared various types of sensory materials such as play dough and paintings, sand box. The most enjoyable moment was when children came to me to hug me and smile. During three times practicums, I learned how to interact with children and loved to be an early childhood educator. When I was in Korea, I volunteered in a welfare centre. I helped children who could not move their legs by pushing their wheelchairs. Even though, the children who used wheelchairs have restriction of moving their body freely, they participated various activities in the center through effort by many teachers in the center. Through this experience, I gained confidence when I confront children with special needs. This experience was valuable for me for the reason, I was happy that I could help the children physically and mentally and it was good that the children opened their mind to me.
