Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

I started my education career in the primary grades and did long-term replacement contracts in kindergarten. As a 28 year veteran performer, I have a proven track record of success with preschool children. My own child is now a 21-year-old whose care I was largely responsible for. As an elementary and junior high student, my primary job was tutorning and babysitting. My son is on the autism spectrum disorder scale close to Asberger\'s. I have taught in Learning Disabled and Behaviour Disordered classes. I taught on a First Nations Reserve for 18 months with a gamut of LD and FASD issues. I also mentored FASD and other children on the autism spectrum.
