Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

My credentials consist of 11 years’ experience with volunteering at Fort Saskatchewan Elementary School. Currently I help with math and literacy skills for grade 4. There are also multiple children with disabilities; such as Autism and Fetal Alcohol syndrome, who need extra care and attention. I possess an acute eye for art, so I help coordinate a craft club for grades 1-6. The club is held every three months. As an adolescent I was an avid volunteer at our community YMCA. My responsibilities were to take children(ages 14months-3 years) swimming. I worked on socialization through play. At Fort Saskatchewan Elementary School most often I help children with Autism, High Functioning Autism, fetal Alcohol syndrome and many other learning disabilities. I have also been a live- out Nanny for a child (5years old) who has ADHD.
