Early Childhood Educator in Brantford, Ontario

I started working with children when I was a full time nanny after high school for 3 children. During college I worked with children from Pre-K to young adults in grade 12. I worked with a lot of special needs students while I was studding at Mohawk College for my Educational Assistant Diploma. After I graduated I worked in a day care as a before and after school teacher. Then while I was in University in Australia I did a practicum in a grade 3 class and in a grade 4 class. Most recently I was a kindergarten teacher in Australia for the last two years. I have worked with all sorts of kids with special needs. I have worked a lot with children with Autism, I have worked with children with physical impairments such as a child who was deaf and children in wheel chairs. I have worked with children who are ESL and also children who are labelled as gifted. I feel very confidant in working with children with special needs from my experiences.
