Early Childhood Educator in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Hello, I got involved with kids with special needs as a Microsoft network consultant before I retired. I might be a good fit for a family looking for daily care or a weekend break. I am an MS. Ed. student at the University of Virginia, focusing on developmentally delayed kids. I have passed the criminal background verification and approved by the Navy. My wife and I live near Bowling Green, VA. I have a great reference from a family whose son was too much to handle at times, and mom needed a break. I have completed the ABA 40-hour training and have some experience with ADHD, ADD, ASD, Down syndrome, and OCD in young children. I am a community mentor for an 8-year-old and am formally part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. I might be able to help with behavioral or learning issues.
