I am Hanshika Tinjan. I am 19 years old. I started Open Studies in Bow Valley College in January 2017 and will be becoming a full time student in Bow Valley in September 2017 for the Justice Studies Program. I have the following qualifications; -Level 1 Daycare Orientation Certificate -Standard First Aid and CPR/AED certificate -Experience with children up to 12 years with the help of my volunteering experience at Day Camp at Village Square Leisure Center. I have also volunteered at Temple Child's Care - office clerk (organizing files, documents and cupboards), Sikh Parade- Rope time (keeping the participants off grass/private property, in the designated parade route and away from traffic - ongoing), and Shaw Workshops (Running cameras, editing and production techniques such as communication, listening and comprehension, Indulged in mock interviews to enhance communication skills, Encouraged for public speaking and presenting news). Children are the future of the generation. If they are treated well, taught well, and respected, our world could become a much better place and be in good hands. I enjoy being with children as I have nieces and nephews. I respect all ethnicity. As my friends say, I am fun to be around, outgoing, and kind.
