Early Childhood Educator in Aurora, Ontario

Since September until the middle of April I have been working at Holy Spirit Catholic Elementary school with 6 kids who have behavioral and exceptionality issues and they are from the ages of 7-11. I have acted in accordance with ethical and professional standards of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counselors. Identified roles and responsibilities of all members of a team providing service to clients. I have used a variety of approaches to promote child/youth’s self-esteem. I have a strong ability to assess the strengths and needs of the child and youth. I also constantly reinforce positive pro-social behavior. I have a huge passion for working with children and helping them better themselves and I work really well with children/youth. I would love a new experience with children/youth, I have a very outgoing, caring, nurturing, supportive, and focused personality. I have strong interpersonal skills resulting in exceptional rapport with people. Proven success in initiating, promoting and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships. I am able to deal courteously, professionally and tactfully with the general public in a variety of circumstances. N/A
