Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

My name is Sadia Tariq and I achieved my diploma in Early Childhood Education from Centennial College with honours and a scholarship award in 2010. Since then, I have gained valuable experience working with infant, toddler, junior and senior, preschool and school-age children. In all my years of working as an ECE, my responsibilities have been wide-ranging. They have included the observation and planning of activities, portfolio-development for children under my supervision, maintaining positive relationships with parents, and collaborating with coworkers. Since 2014, I have been working with Thorncliffe Park Daycare centre as a part-time ECE. Prior to this, I served as an RECE at Parkway Forest Childcare Centre (YMCA). I also have experience working as supply staff from my time at Lescon Childcare Centre. All these experiences of learning and working with children, have enabled me to work with children of different age groups.
