Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver, British Columbia

For the past 6 months, I have volunteered in a preschool, and loved every minute of it! I enjoyed helping children transition from home to school environment, while providing them with the care they need. I have some experience with helping to take care of a child with autism. I noticed that the most important thing is to ensure that the child feels safe, is allowed to have enough time to get used to the new environment, is allocated enough caregiver\\\'s time and attention, and is encouraged to learn to be around other children.
