I had experience with all four age groups in different settings. With school age children I had experience in a school board where it was a more structured scedhule, I was responsible in ensure all children were present and also the involvement of the children in the activites. Each day in the day care I had to ensure that I had developmently appropraite activities in correspondance with the document elect. I also assisted in the daily routines such as lunch and preparing for outdoor play. With the younger children I had to prepare their cribs and also cots before they would go to sleep. and then help the children with going to bed. In one of the daycares that I had done one of my placements in , I had a child that was in mobile and also had a delay cognitavely. When i had to plan my activities I ensured that the child with special needs would be included and it was activities that were appropriate for all the children.
