Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

I was born and brought up in the UK and graduated with a Psychology degree before moving to Canada. I spent 3 months working as a Supply Teacher at Abc Academy in early 2012. I have previously done 8 months voluntary work with children who have autism in a youth centre in England. I pursued my ECE Diploma online while taking care of my two children, (then a 4 year old boy and a 3 year old girl). I completed my diploma in August 2018 and became a Registered ECE shortly after. I did start working as an RECE part time at All Smiles Childcare Centre, after completing my diploma. However, due to my daughter not being in school and her not feeling comfortable in the daycare environment, I had to stop working shortly after. I worked as a Pre-Casa RECE at a Montessori when my daughter attended school, but the pandemic started and I also had my third child. When she turned 18 months, I joined a Montessori as a Pre-Casa Headteacher. For a year, I was in charge of a Pre-Casa class. However, I faced some health problems, so I decided to focus on my wellbeing and family. I am ready to resume work part time to have a better balance in my life. I am available to work maximum 3 days a week, as I need to give time to my children 9, 8 and 3. I am extremely friendly, punctual, patient and hardworking as well as a very active person.
