Early Childhood Educator in Salmon Arm, British Columbia

I have worked for the YMCA child care program for the past 9 months. I have been an after school care leader as well as a day camp leader in the summer months. My roles have included supervising children and providing a healthy and safe environment. Providing children with an opportunity of growth and development through a social and active day program. Organizing day to day activities and providing a fun and enjoyable camp/after-school care experience for children. Organizing and leading activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports, healthy baking, swimming excursions, and taking the children on a variety of field trip outings as well as local tours.
