Early Childhood Educator in Cochrane, Alberta

During my 25 years in the early childhood education field, I have been given opportunities to increase my skill sets and understanding. My experience and natural skills of leadership, combined with my bubbly character, my organized personality and strength in communication and classroom engagement, have led me to a variety of opportunities. I am a natural organizer and accomplish-er. When a task is assigned to me, it is completed accurately and timely. In addition, my personality naturally gravitates to people and recognizes them as the key to success. I am consistently aware of my surroundings; observing and evaluating each situation while maintaining quality and respectful relationships with both clients and staff. Creating an environment where all individuals are appreciated and valued is also one of my priorities. I have a focus and passion for the delivery of quality product, quality service and love the public relations aspect of my various roles. Parent education and support have been a great deal of my focus in all my previous roles. Through some consulting/service opportunities, I have had the opportunity to lead staff and parent modules for team building, early brain development and early learning guidance. Furthermore, I recently learned about and connected with www.....ca to learn more about this professional education and to register for their skills training programs. In addition, I have needed to be very thorough and professional in all aspects. While being the primary liaison for current families with challenges or needing support, I have had to have good rapport, body language and communication skills, as well as be organized and systematic when it comes to children/staff files and special case information. Confidentiality is required in all areas, as well as being detailed and thorough with needed information in classrooms, teachers & families.
