Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! My name is David, I am 25 years old, and I am currently looking to expand my experience and knowledge in the childcare sector! I have applied for the Social Work Diploma course at MRU for the upcoming Fall Semester, and have a great love for mentoring/supervising youth and children! I don't currently have any prior experience in this field, but I am optimistic that the right opportunity will present itself for me to become immersed in this highly rewarding and uplifting line of work! I have exceptional communication skills and take pride in my ability to be patient and understanding when it comes to dealing with the high energy and unexpected situations that arise whilst working with children, teens, and young adults. I have a 5-year-old Goddaughter and have learned a great deal from my time spent playing with and raising her alongside her wonderful father. I long to pursue a rewarding career in Social Work and feel that any experience working with children will only serve to enhance my breadth of knowledge and wisdom moving forward!
